Established in 2009, D.O.G (Dog Owners Guide) Local has a wealth of experience in all areas of the canine industry from behaviourists to groomers to clients throughout the United Kingdom.Due to the credit crunch, many bogus businesses have started up in the local area offering canine services to the public without the correct management tools in place (insurance, experience, qualifications) with disastrous consequences.
D.O.G Local hopes that providing a good base of information to the public, the quality of service provided will be greatly improved and any malpractice will soon be a thing of the past.
The businesses listed on D.O.G Local have had their relevant paperwork checked and that their business is conducting itself legally with all the correct licences, qualifications and experience, as well as insurances in place to suit their business needs and to work within the legal framework of the county in which the services is provided. Each member of D.O.G Local will also have to sign and uphold the Code of Conduct, which has strict guidelines to adhere to, promoting professional conduct at all times and only kind and humane methods are to be used.
